Overview:
Review:
Until He Was Gone is a novel that
talks about family love, unconditional love, forbidden love and one great love.
In this book , you will encounter a
different and great bond of cousins. They’re the Montefalcos which is super
close to each other. If one is hurt, one must pay. They support and love each
other. Klare is part of the Montefalco cousins.
She was kind and very talented. She has a great crush for Eion. Her crush for a
very long time.
Nevertheless, when Eion started
developing his feelings for Klare, Klare’s feelings turned upside down. She is
now torn between her long time crush and her cousin, Elijah.
Elijah Montefalco who is selfish and
possessive. He’s caring, thoughtful, loving and very very very gentleman. A
quality of a guy every woman wants. And Klare and Elijah was not close to each
other. They described them as “aso’t pusa” because they always fight to each
other even for simple things.
I know it’s confusing. Indeed
confusing at all. Cousins but they love each other? Oh my it’s incest. A love that is forbidden. In the eyes of the
Lord it’s very unacceptable. But that’s how it is.
The love they have for each other,
especially Elijah, is extremely strong and pure. They break the rules, the laws
and their families’ hearts just to be with each other. But when their family knew
about them, of course, they needed to break them apart. So, Klare pushed Elijah
away and he left the country. Hence, the title, Until He Was Gone.
This novel will let you know about how love works into people’s life. Different view of love that will awaken your soul. If you are fond of fictional books then this will suit your taste perfectly. It is not also pure drama and romance, it also have comedy scenes which will leave you laughing the whole time.
