News that matter: Should Medical Marijuana Be Legalized in PH?

1.  What will be the central message of your report?

The central message of the report was about the legalization of marijuana in the Philippines. It was found out that marijuana has several medical uses and among the psychotropic drugs, marijuana is the most potent.

2. How did you process your ideas? What strategies did you use?

I manage to process my ideas by using concept map which is a general organizer. I used this strategy because it shows the central idea and its corresponding characteristics.

3. What message you want your readers to remember?

I want my readers to remember the importance of being informed about marijuana and its uses, “Even for small apart, if we don’t give them space for public discussions, for people to be enlightened about it, we will forever be ignorant.” Melgar stressed.

4. What issue you want to address to the reader?

The issue I want to address to the reader is that marijuana is not only an addicting drug but has medical benefits that can help cure certain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and multiple sclerosis.

5. What questions do you want to ask my readers to ponder on?
